With support from AmeriCorps, the federal agency for volunteering and service, MBK Ohio works with community partners across the state to advance statewide programmatic coordination in education and workforce development for low-income youth and their families.
VISTA Members will:
- Engage in community outreach efforts
- Help design a community assessment and local action plan
- Facilitate partnerships with school districts, employers, and nonprofits with the goal of improving academic and economic opportunities for youth.
- Serve as key points of contact for MBK initiatives in your community
